Lowveld Hunting Area

Our Boston Ranch is a 1160-hectare area, bordering directly on the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, which forms part of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. It is situated in the history-rich Lowveld area of South Africa, in the Northeast of the country where the Klein Drakenberg mountains form the Southern border and rolling over into the Kruger and then Mozambique, in the East. The area is typically flat to rolling savannah with beautiful Mopani and Combretum forests.

The area houses a wide variety of game species, as could be expected from its location, but we only specialise in hunting Cape Buffalo here. Limited plains game species can be arranged in the area if time allows. The area has been specifically selected for hunting the Cape Buffalo in a wild, free-range environment, where hunting is done on foot in an ethical fashion, making it an unforgettable experience. Because of the area’s location, we can combine your Buffalo safari with an exclusive, luxury game lodge experience in one of the many private game reserves where you can experience the Big Five.
