Matla Mamba Safari Camp

Matla Mamba Bush Camp is situated on the banks of the Mamba River. The camp consists of two permanent luxury, en-suite tents – each tent has its own patio overlooking the river, is equipped with air-conditioning and can accommodate two people each (one king size bed and the other two single beds).

The dining area has a large patio with dining table and comfortable sofas. The outside ‘boma’ is ideal for sitting at the campfire while enjoying the sounds of the African bush. Nyala, impala, warthog and kudu count among the regular visitors at the campsite. Be sure to bring your binoculars along for exquisite birdwatching or reel in some freshwater fish from the river.

Matla Mamba Ranch

Matla Mamba Ranch is a private game reserve, situated near the Waterberg Mountain Range between Vaalwater, Lephalale and Thabazimbi in the Limpopo Province of South Africa.

Matla Mamba borders the Marakele National Park for more than 27 kilometres, a malaria-free region in the heart of the Bushveld.

Experience the beauty of Africa on Matla Mamba’s 8 000 hectare, unspoilt African bushveld ranch, with its wide variety of game, including three of the Big Five. The reserve derives its name from the Mamba and Matlabas Rivers meandering through it. During your safari, you will see a large variety of game species, including sable, gemsbuck, eland, giraffe, hartebeest, buffalo, rhino, zebra, kudu, bushbuck, nyala and many more.
