Camp sleeps 6 clients in 3 well-appointed and comfortable tents – each with ensuite bathrooms. Hot & cold running water as well as flushing toilets are installed throughout the camps.
Deka Camp
Deka Safari Area
Is situated in Northwestern Zimbabwe and borders the famous Hwange National Park. It is part of the biggest wilderness area of Zimbabwe (Hwange/ Matetsi / Ngamo / Vicfalls) and the Kavango Trans frontier conservation area. Deka Safari Area is included in the intensive protection zone which protects a population of black Rhino. The area covers approximately 50 000 hectares, comprising mainly of hilly terrain with Mopane, Teak forests and some jesse-bush vegetation. Deka Pool offers a luxury tented safari camp which is situated above the Lukosi River, giving a superb setting where game often walks through the camp.
Buffalo
Deka Tail and Deka Pool quotas have been merged to form one continuous hunting block now called the Deka Safari Area and with one combined quota. With 75km of unfenced, Hwange National Park boundary, Deka is a free range, wild hunting area of the top order. 2023 took a magnificent lion (and left one even better for 2024), as well as some quality buffalo, elephant, leopard and plains game – Deka again proves why it is a prime area.
